SPA OPERATIONS PLAN FOR COVID-19

LIABILITY WAIVER & PRE-SCREENING: This pre-screening will take place no more than 24 hours prior to your visit through email. You must fill out the New Guest Skincare Questionnaire first.

Every guest must be screened prior to their scheduled appointment for the following symptoms:

1. Do you have a cough?

2. Fever?

3. Body aches?

4. Shortness of breath?

5. Sore throat?

6. Flu-like symptoms?

7. Sudden loss of smell or taste?

8. Have you been tested for COVID and have you received your test results?

9. Have you had any contact with someone that tested positive or was possibly infected with the virus and not tested?

NEGATIVE SCREENED GUESTS-  Guests who report "NO" to all screening questions will be directed to carry out business as normal at Absolutely Fabulous Spa with the following process indicated below.

POSITIVE SCREENED GUESTS- Guests who report "YES" to any screening questions will have their appointments rescheduled, walk-in guests will be asked to exit the facility.
 

 

GUEST FLOW PROCESS

 

  • All guests who report “No” to all screening questions will be instructed to come to their appointment with a mask and to come to their appointment alone. We ask that all adults stay in the parking lot to wait on their minor child.

  • If the guest did not bring a mask to wear to their visit, Absolutely Fabulous Spa staff will distribute a disposable mask for them to wear throughout the extent of their visit.

  • The designated seating areas will be closed until June 1st, guests will be directed to wait in their vehicles instead of  the waiting areas to prevent inadvertent spread of the virus.

  • Upon arrival, all guest will wait in their car until the therapist is ready for them to enter the building. Please text "here" to 469-654-4699 and they will come get you.

  • Absolutely Fabulous Spa will have a staff member stationed at the front desk door for the purpose of conducting the screening, and directing traffic flow.

  • All guests will have their temperature taken as a vital sign upon entry prior to checking in for their scheduled appointment. Guests with a temperature of 100.4 or above will be asked to reschedule their appointment and exit the facility. These vital signs will then be documented within their treatment record by their provider.

  • We hold all of our reservations with a credit or debit card and will use the saved card on file to complete your spa transactions.

  • All NEW guest will be directed to fill-out paperwork online prior to their visit

  • All guests requesting product pickup only, will be directed to the existing curbside pickup process.

  • A ten-minute block will be scheduled between each appointment to allow for staff to do a full disinfection of their treatment rooms between guest visits.

 

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

 

  • All staff members will wear a mask along with a face shield and gloves during treatments.

  • To be able to provide an extremely high level of sanitation, we will charge a nominal fee of $3 per appointment until we are able to lessen restrictions. This added fee will pay for the PPE for all staff members and our sanitation squad.

Once we receive your skincare consultation form, we will then email two more forms 24 hours prior to your appointment:

LET US KNOW WHEN YOU ARRIVE

Step 4

PUT ON YOUR MASK

Please bring a mask or we will distribute a disposable mask for you to wear throughout the extent of their visit. Just let us know by text that you need one and your provider will bring one out to your car.
 

Step 5

TEMPERATURE CHECK

All guests will have their temperature taken as a vital sign upon entry prior to checking in for their scheduled appointment. Guests with a temperature of 100.4 or above will be asked to reschedule their appointment and exit the facility. These vital signs will then be documented within their treatment record by their provider.
