Guest Relations Specialist

The Guest Relations Specialist is responsible for overseeing and organizing the AB Fab membership program and aiding in the day-to-day responsibilities in the Spa. They are highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to keep track of multiple moving parts to support the Absolutely Fabulous brand. They also value connection and community, are a natural people-person and will provide an extraordinary experience for Absolutely Fabulous Spa members and guests. 

The principle duties for the Guest Relations Specialist will include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

 

  • Brand Ambassador - Nurture, celebrate, and engage AFS community members and guests. Represent Absolutely Fabulous Spa in a positive, professional manner at all times and demonstrate AFS core values. 

  • Operations- Answer phone calls, schedule guests, complete follow-up calls, and engage with guests who have not visited AFS in over 90-days. Assist with physical spa operations. Manage the Ab Fab Membership program.

  • Customer Service- Respond to general inquiries, via phone, email, and/or in a timely and professional manner.

  • Communications – Create + manage ongoing, inspiring, connecting communications (e-newsletters, emails, texts, phone calls, snail mail) with current and prospective members.

  • Programming - Become familiar with all regular services and products to aid in educating all current and prospective guests on all AB Fab offerings. 

  • Sales - Assist with achieving sales initiatives for Absolutely Fabulous Spa as well as growing the AB Fab Membership program.

Preferred Competencies and Skills

  • Previous experience in the spa or related reception work

  • Proficient in MindBody Online software

  • 2+ year customer service experience

  • Retail opening & closing responsibilities

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

  • This position is responsible for other team members in the absence of Spa Management

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • This position must be able to stay on their feet for long periods of time.

  • Able to reach, bend, climb, grasp, kneel, push, pull and twist as needed.

  • Must read and write English in a clear and concise manner.

TRAVEL:

  • Local travel to meetings and training may be required.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

  • Performance will be discussed with the Spa Director on a regular basis
